A small collection weighing 100 grams of south island West coast rough New Zealand garnet in matrix.

These garnets are form the west coast of New Zealand and have weathered out of the host rock.

They would be an interesting addition to any rockhound collection, the garnets them selves are very black and take a bit of effort to extract. i have added a picture of one i extracted (for reference only not included in this listing as this is my precious ) these are not gem quality and there is no guarantee what's inside
