A stunning set of vintage African trade beads.
African Trade Beads, specifically a variety often referred to as "African Amber."
While they resemble natural amber, these particular beads are typically made from phenolic resin or copal. In many cases, these beads were used as a form of currency across Africa, notably in Nigeria and Morocco. 
Bead size is 26mm x 15.8mm  approximately this varies as the beads are all slightly different .
