1. Business and Product Disclaimer (Second-Hand & Antique Items)

• Unique Nature: We specialize in antique, vintage, and modern second-hand jewellery. Because these items are pre-owned, they are sold on an "as-is" and "as-described" basis.

• Wear and Tear: Fine estate and vintage jewellery often displays signs of age, wear, patina, or historical character. We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph the condition of each piece, including any notable flaws or restorations. Minor surface wear is normal and should be expected.

• Descriptions and Weights: All item descriptions, measurements, sizing, and gemstone weights are approximate estimates based on professional grading techniques. Due to the nature of set gemstones, precise weights cannot always be guaranteed without unsetting the stones.

2. Sizing and Alterations

• Item Sizes: Ring sizes and chain lengths are specified in the product descriptions.

• Alterations: If you request a ring to be resized or a piece to be altered by us prior to shipping, please note that altered items are considered custom orders and are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We are not responsible for any alterations performed by a third-party jeweller after purchase.

3. Pricing and Payments

• All prices displayed on the Website are in NZD and are subject to change without notice.

• We accept payments via Stripe, PayPal and bank transfer (nz customers only). Orders will only be processed and dispatched once full payment has been cleared and verified.

• In the rare event that an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction, refund your payment in full, and correct the listing.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• Dispatch: We aim to ship orders within 1-2 business days of cleared payment, unless custom sizing or alterations are required.

• Insurance and Tracking: Given the high value of fine jewellery, all orders are shipped using secure, tracked, and fully insured courier services requiring a signature upon delivery.

• International Shipping: If we ship outside of New Zealand the buyer is solely responsible for any import duties, customs charges, or local taxes incurred upon entry into the destination country.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Our return policy acknowledges the unique nature of second-hand luxury items:

• Return Window: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you must notify us within 2 days of receiving the item to request a return.

• We do not accept returns for change of mind

• Condition for Returns: To be eligible for a refund, the piece must be returned in the exact, unaltered condition in which it was received, accompanied by all original packaging, tags, certificates, or independent valuations provided.

• Exclusions: Items that have been resized, damaged, altered, or customized after delivery cannot be accepted for return.

6. Authenticity and Guarantees

• We take pride in thoroughly inspecting, testing, and verifying the authenticity of all gold, silver, platinum, and gemstones sold on our site.

• Where applicable, items may come with independent gemmological reports or valuations, which will be clearly stated in the product description.
